Korábban Marc Webb rendező ecsetelgette, hogy Pókember A csodálatos pókember 2-ben (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) új szerelést kap, amin nagyobbak lesznek a szemei, és a hálólövőjén is módosítanak ezt-azt.  Megérkezett az első hivatalos promófotó, a tovább mögött pedig egy rakat kép New York Cityből, a forgatásról.
